The Union Jack
London, England
Flash back to 1995 and I'm off to London, England. The experience was fantastic and remains with me to this day. I highly recommend London to everyone, you have not lived until you've experienced it, it has an essence all it's own.
"You find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London
all that life can afford.", Samuel Johnson.

For lovers of art, nothing beats walking down the street and to look at the art that surrounds you on the buildings.

I stood over the GMT line, one foot in one time zone, the other foot in a different time zone.

Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, an imposing sight from a bridge over the river Thames.

The beauty of London is the perfect blend of old & new. The old city is left next to the new city, Bank, right.

What picture collection could be complete without a shot of a historic double-decked red bus.

Off of the beaten path, a shot of the old city and St. Pauls Cathedral from a seldom used walking trail.

Standing next to the river Thames is a powerful experience.
