Andrew Gordon James Morris

Andrew Gordon James Morris: That's quite a lot to say! This little guy was named after his father and two Grandfathers. It's a lot to live up to. He was 21 inches and weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces at birth with blue eyes, long piano players fingers and a head of brown hair. Moms feet and nose with lips and ears like daddy.

He's strong. This little guy could have left a bruise on my arm right out of the chute and he's moving his head around on the first day. The long nights of disco dancing in the womb built up his muscles? He keeps his eyes open most of the time and looks around, trying to figure out what's going on.

Today daddy learned how to change a black tar diaper, not fun! After that life-altering experience I'm too tired to write so I will explain the day in pictures, so here we go!

June in the dessert as we drive to the hospital.

Here is the last picture we will have of the little guy 'on the inside'. He is breaking out today!

Mommy sprints off towards the entrance, she can't wait to get baby out! Some of us try to keep up without any luck.

Mommy cracks some jokes to make us laugh while waiting for them to wheel her away into the delivery room.

Perhaps I missed my calling, would I have made a good surgeon or what???I am dressed and ready for delivery, it's hard to take your own picture in a mirror.

He is here and man is he pissed! Crying a little bit, why all of the bright lights daddy and why is it cold?!?!

After I snipped the cord, we hurried baby over to the nursery to weigh him in and check him over.

Grandma #1 meets her Grandson and after that we couldn't really keep them apart. When is it my turn to hold him? :)

You would hide too if you'd had 345 pictures taken of you within 2 hours.

His big sister was a bit apprehensive at first, but once she touched him she couldn't stop holding him.

Mommy and baby take a break after a long and very hard morning.

Then they get a chance to snuggle, baby sleeps in her arms for the first time.

Our first family portrait with Andrew! You can't see his lips but I'm sure he is smiling too.

Now the visitors start to come. He's a cutie, all of the ladies want to take him home. :)

Say "Hi Granma!".

Now it's Grandpa's turn.

Quiet time talking about weight lifting, soccer and other fun things he will do with daddy in the future.

All of this hard work makes me sleepy!

Hey Andrew, welcome to the world my little son there is much to do and even more to learn.

If he could speak, what would he say? :)
